Make Your Money Make Money For You June 14, 2010 Carol Argo 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book tries to tell someone how to invest in Trust Deeds and make 12% on their money. It does not stick to the subject. It gets into the philosophy as to how to save money, how to live a debt free life. Too much emphasis on how to use a calculator and understand compound interest. When it does talk about trust deeds, it is very elementary. There is no index. And then to add insult to injury, he publishes 29 pages of forms. If you are a complete beginner, this book might be a little helpful.
A practical guide to financial freedom August 31, 2009 Vaderdust (Oklahoma City) I was hesitant to read the book but thought I'd give it a shot. I read the first chapter which talks about the basics of getting out of debt and how to do this the quickest and most painless way. A quick sidenote that I had my younger friend read that chapter too and he is now saving away to be able to take full advantage of the remainder of the book.
The rest of the book is dedicated to teaching investing basics, further info how banks make their money and you can too.
The book is not a boring "how to" guide. Its an entertaining way to learn which I suspect is what the author planned all along. I'm not quite ready to start my investing basics but now I'm one step closer to achieving those results I wanted all along. My best advice is to get the book, it'll be your first investment in yourself.
The best book ever on this topic!! July 1, 2009 Hament Mahajan (bay area , ca) I am a seasoned investor in trust deeds. I have gone through most of the published books on this topic. I rate this book as the best of the lot.
It covers most aspects from a investor's standpoint and explains the complexities in a easy to understand language. There is additional info in the book which is specific to California.
I wish that the author publish more books in related topics.
Highly recommended
Excellent Book. Very worthwhile. November 14, 2008 C. Hagen (Nevada, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you have never invested in Trust Deed Mortgages, this book is an excellent explanation of the process and opportunities. And if you are an experienced Trust Deed Investor, as I am, you will still find something in this book that will make it worth your while to read.
Mr. Ahluwalia tells of his experiences in the Trust Deed market in a very entertaining and memorable style. Thank you for an excellent book. I have recommended it to several of my friends and colleagues.
Very Well Covered! August 15, 2008 Izrul Fizal 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pros:
* I purposely bought this book just to seek knowledge in Trust Deed Investments.
* Strong point given on why you need to invest your money right now.
Cons:
* Whatever it is, you still need money in the beginning to make money.
* You need to have some capital.
